We have seen it more than enough where someone just snaps and goes on a killing spree. And more often than not the firearm of choosing is always a "Military-Grade Weapon". Weapons that should be exclusive ONLY to the military and should NOT be on our streets, in our neighborhoods wreaking havoc. I understand that it is in the Constitution that we have the right to bear arms, but let's face it, we are not living in the 1700's anymore.
There is NO need for the public to have these weapons unless they are planning to do some sort of harm. If the public wants to own a firearm for protection than it should be no larger than a small handgun. In addition to stricter background checks as well as mental stability tests. We need to come together to protect each other especially our children.
