Revise DoD Directive 5210.56-allow those licensed to carry a concealed weapon to do so on a military installation

Created by D.B. on December 02, 2013

This administration should Revise DoD Directive 5210.56 to allow those licensed to carry a concealed weapon to legally do so on a military installation. The current prohibition strips service members of their right to defend themselves while on an installation. There have been multiple high profile examples in which this prohibition has cost people their lives. If an individual is qualified to carry weapons in defense of DoD & government interests, licensed to carry a concealed weapon in the state which they are stationed and otherwise not prohibited from possessing firearms- Then they should be allowed to legally carry a personally owned weapon for self defense onto a military installation.
