Revise the felony murder doctrine for less sentencing time for people convicted of crimes they did not commit

Created by R.C. on April 15, 2013

The Felony murder doctrine is a very old law that in it's time served a purpose, however this doctrine has outgrown it usefulness and in today's world it only proves to provide for prosecutors an easy way out of doing their job. Basically the doctrine states that anyone can be convicted of felony murder even though they themselves did no harm. To learn more about this law, google ..Felony Murder Rule.. read for yourself the cases of unfair, cruel and unusual punishment applied to innocent men an women. My husband has served 25 years of a life sentence for a crime he did not commit. Please, stop this barbaric treatment. NC and other states needs to follow in Ohio's foot steps and revise the sentences handed down for felony murder cases. NO MORE LIFE SENTENCES.
