Added sugar/fructose is in almost every processed food. However, food labels only list sugar/fructose as a component of carbohydrates, which includes a dv%. There is no indication of a daily value/limit for the sugar/fructose.The "fat" category includes dv%'s for the various types of fats, and there is a dv% for dietary fiber under carbs, so why can't there be a dv% for sugar/fructose. The WHO 2014 recommendations on sugar consumption should provide the baseline for the dv%.
