Revise Free Trade Agreements To Keep Jobs In America

Companies continue to outsource American jobs to nations without laws to treat workers ethically and curtail pollution from factories (China, Mexico, etc.). American companies can move factories to places like these in a profitable way because of free trade agreements. Not only does this cause American jobs to be outsourced, but it allows for millions of workers to be exploited on other countries. Countries that participate in free trade with the United States should have worker protection laws and anti-pollution laws before securing a free trade agreement with. The added costs of running a factory under these rules will give American companies less reason to outsource American jobs. We ask the White House to make these laws a requirement to engage in free trade with the United States.
