revise the Posse Comitatus Act and educate Americans in regards to civil rights during national and civil emergencies.

Created by C.B. on September 15, 2013

The Posse Comitatus Act is outmoded and nebulous in specifying the roles and purpose the United States Armed Forces operate in with regard to law enforcement. By clearly defining and revising the act, the citizens and people of the United States can understand their rights and liberties during presumably emergency situations.

The Department of Homeland Security as well as the TSA have created a climate of fear in the American people. Addressing the limits of these seemingly clandestine agencies will help instill trust that the United States government is not abusing the rights and expectations of the nation.

Only through education and cooperation can the government and the governed exist harmoniously. Please clearly and deliberately examine this Act and agencies.
