Revise the process for foreign trained medical doctors making it easier/faster to become eligible to practice in the U.S

It is no secret that there is already a huge shortfall of physicians in the U.S. & the problem is only getting worse with our population growth in addition to the previously uninsured Americans now covered under ObamaCare. Simply put, doctors are over-worked due to the lack of other doctors. The 2012 Medscape physician compensation survey reported that in spite of the 6 figure salaries almost 50% of physicians regretted their decision to go into medicine. There are currently thousands of highly qualified foreign trained doctors living in the U.S. unable to work due to the unnecessarily long process of becoming licensed here.
