The purpose of my petition is to open a discussion into revising the viability standard of Roe V Wade in the hopes that a change would perhaps save just one human life that would otherwise be exterminated by abortion. The viability standard that is law is based upon 40 year old medicine and technology. The health care industry has made innumerable advances in the past 4 decades. That our modern society still bases whether a human life is worthy of continuing development upon outdated science is irresponsible and unconscionable.
