Revoke the ability of state colleges and universities to charge an application fee

Created by A.W. on August 18, 2014

In order to apply to certain colleges/universities, you must first pay an application fee. Some fees are upwards of $60. Imagine, paying a fee to apply to a college, that you may not even be accepted to. You've never heard of somebody having to pay a fee to apply for a job, and still have the possibility of not being hired. With the economy in the shape that it's in, and tuiton being priced so high, I don't think that an application fee is at all necessary.
