We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Revoke access to IMSI catchers from local, state, and federal use.

Created by M.F. on June 26, 2016

An IMSI catcher also commonly referred to as "stingray" is a cell phone simulator that is actively known to be used in at least 24 states to spy on citizens without a warrant. This "tool" is used to hack into phones and violates your privacy. It uses a MITM (Used as a relay between your cellphone and a cell phone tower) to actively receive data from your phone. These devices intercept text messages and calls, track locations, jam signals, accessing your cameras and phones storage. They also break the US codes - 18 U.S. Code § 1028, 18 U.S. Code § 1029, 18 U.S. Code § 1037, 18 U.S. Code § 1343, and 18 U.S. Code § 1362. I think that policing bodies should not be exempt from such laws. IMSI catchers also haven't stopped recent terrorist attacks. Please help protect our civil rights!
