We have a separation of church and state for a reason. Religion, especially Christians have a habit of getting into politics where they shouldn't belong, they oppose government getting into the church but have no problem with the church getting into government and swaying opinions and policy. If they want into politics they should pay their way just like everyone else, and this might just get them to keep their nose out of politics and progression.
