This petition respectfully requests the revocation of the appointment of Michael Taylor to the FDA. Instead of raiding small, family-owned Amish farms producing food the way it should be and has been raised for centuries, he should be targeting the agribusiness model, of which his former employer, Monsanto, who he probably will have a pension from and also probably holds stock in, is an integral part.
We want clean food and for small farms who do not use chemicals, genetic modification, and feed lots to be able to operate as they have for generations in the country, and the current agribusiness model to be regulated and have greater oversight.
Michael Taylor's experience and loyalties to his former employer and their business model makes this impossible.
