Revoke Bill Cosby's 2002 Presidential Medal of Freedom in light of the serious allegations made against him as a rapist.

Created by K.S. on November 21, 2014

Bill Cosby was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002. Please revoke this honor from him as soon as possible. It is dishonorable to recognize a man who is almost certainly a serial rapist with such a lofty award. It is also disrespectful to the other awardees of this noble medal to be forced to share their honor with a man such as Mr. Cosby. It must also be extremely painful for his numerous victims to see him recognized as a supposed role model and hero.

President Obama, as Commander and Chief of the United States Armed Forces please also revoke Mr. Cosby's 2010 "Lone Sailor Award" from the United States Navy as well as taking away his honorary Chief Petty Officer status.
