The first step toward fixing the poltical quagmire in this country is to remove businesses power to get involved in politics, they should be very limited in influence.
The second step is forcing all banks which received financial bailout funds need to pay back the loans granted to them with the same interest rate that is charged their worst customer. Unfortunately they were not responsible so they do not qualify for the best rate. They must pay it back plus fees for damages to the economy and back pay to the citizens for holding those funds hostage within the next 3-5 years. Otherwise the assets need to be liquidated and sold. Our economy needs spending to fuel it, we are stalling and need a pick me up more than those banks. Consumers are what drives the economy not gluttonous kings.
