Today, on August 20, 2013, at McNair High School, located in DeKalb county Georgia, a gunmen entered the school and began firing shots at students and teachers. Luckily, the staff & students followed the guidelines for such an event and were able prevent any injuries during the incident. The gunmen was then arrested and taken into custody. These sort of things must stop, and putting money towards unnecessary things, such as the new Atlanta Falcons stadium, does not help. Our tax money needs to be put towards Georgia's education system; not only to increase the overall GPA of the state, but to ensure the security of our State's public schools so that events such as this may never (or more seldom) occur.
