Revoke Corporate Personhood

Legally, corporations are considered people, enjoying many of the rights and freedoms of humans, but by the current global structure they aren't held accountable for their actions like a normal person would be. The structure of the legal humanness of corporations along with limited liability for the major decision makers and stakeholders encourages destructive behaviors that externalize costs in order to maximize profit. Costs are externalized by under paying or exploiting workers, outsourcing processes of production to areas with fewer regulations, and negligently or intentionally damaging our shared environment. Some people prosper as a result of these processes, but the vast majority end up paying for these costs through taxes and harder to quantify means like decreased air quality.
