Since the 1800s, American corporations have been allowed the same rights as any natural person, giving businesses more loopholes to take advantage of average citizens around the world.
I propose that the presidential administration take the necessary steps to level the playing field between corporate titans and real, living persons by passing legislature:
* Defining corporate identity as separate from living persons
* Subjecting corporations to stricter laws to avoid abuse of power
* Prohibiting corporations from influencing government
* Allowing Congress to set limits on corporate contributions to government
Please take measures to help eliminate common corporate abuse of power, allowing Americans fairer opportunity to prosper and have a voice in government.
