Corporations in the US take unfair advantage of their corporate personhood over the rest of the population, especially since they wealthy enough to pay for lawyer buffets. By creating a special set of rules by which corporations must play, we can ensure that government agencies and citizens alike can do a better job at protecting consumers, workers, and the economy in general.
Bad businesses practices have prevented us from reforms that not only can enhance our economy but also our lives. They also created this economic catastrophe in 2008. If anybody would be able to peak into businesses and their practices, then corporations would have to maintain a set of humane standards at all times rather than when they have to keep appearances.
