Eliminate, the DRBC
(Delaware River Basin Commission)
When the DRBC was created, in 1961 under President Kennedy, no other agency existed for the protection of our natural resources.
Since that time the Federal EPA has come into existence. Also each state now has it's own environmental protection agency to further protect it's lands and waters.
With these new agencies the DRBC has become no more than a redundant bureaucracy which repeatedly engages in political issues wielding it's authority in a corrupt manner.
It's Executive Director, Carol Collier, has collaborated with anti-gas activists in attempts to deny landowner rights in the Delaware River basin and has effected a moratorium on natural gas development for over four years in that area. Stop spending tax dollars on the DRBC!
