Revoke the H1-B Visa program until there is no American Unemployed.

Created by E.M. on January 09, 2013

Revoke the H1B program until no American is unemployed. The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act. It allows US employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. The term "Specialty Occupations" is poorly defined and currently includes "Fashion Models". the H-1B program acts as a subsidy for corporations and has become known as "The OffShore/Outsourcing Visa" as more H-1B visas are granted to companies headquartered in India than companies headquartered in the United States. There has been no shortage of qualified American citizens to fill American jobs, and the data offered as evidence of American corporations needing H-1B visas to address labor shortages is erroneous.
