Revoke mandatory minimum federal sentencing for non- violent drug offenders without ties to organized crime or gangs

Need to revoke federal mandatory minimum sentencing of non- violent drug offenders who become involved in drug offenses due to economic reasons. Those non violent offenders who have no ties to drug and organized crime. Need some form of alternative sentencing rather than draconian long term mandatory minimums that take them from their families, place them in environments that are dangerous and have no rehabilitative record.
