A controversial decision was made to allow New York developer Extell to build a separate entrance for lower-income residents as part of a newly planned condo complex. New York City is already suffering from problems related to income inequality. This outward discrimination of the poor only complicates the problem. Why should anyone that pays to live somewhere be limited to amenities based on their overall net worth?
