Today the NRA has threatened any elected office that supports the non partisan background check bill that will hopefully be up for a vote in the Senate.
This is in blatant disregard to IRS regulations. "Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office."
No taxes, deductible contributions... etc - The IRS should pull the NRA's non profit status immediately.
