Revoke the Oil Drilling Permits granted to Shell in the Alaskan Arctic

An oil spill in the Swedish Arctic is already causing havoc. Bad weather and ice is preventing clean up efforts there. They will likely be delayed until next summer. Despite a warning like this the EPA has granted air emissions permits to Shell Oil for projects in the Alaskan Arctic. Shell's oil spill response plan in no where near adequate enough to respond to an oil spill in the arctic. To prevent severe damage to one of the most fragile environments on the planet the EPA needs to revoke all permits granted for oil drilling activities in the arctic immediately. It also needs to take action to prevent the issuing of further permits in the arctic. For more see this article:
