Revoke or amend DOMA signed in 1996 which defines marriage between a man and a woman, to include same sex-couples.

Created by G.R. on February 21, 2012

Defense of Marriage Act, signed by Congress in 1996, explicitly defined marriage as a legal union between a man and a woman and prevents the President and the executive branch from recognizing marriages between same-sex couples for federal purposes.

Let's revoke or repeal DOMA. If not, let's amend it so same sex couples can be recognized by the law.
