The Patriot Act grants too much power to the government and takes away some existing restrictions. It allows unwarranted wire taps, unwarranted searches, constant monitoring of online data(without consent and often knowledge of user), search of library record, search financial records, etc. These are all examples of violations of our fourth amendment protection and our unalienable right to privacy. This asks that the Patriot Act be revoked or amended to protect the American people.
