Revoke Physical Education as a mandatory class and graduation requirement.

Created by A.R. on May 21, 2014

Revoking Physical Education as a mandatory class and graduation requirement for high school kids is something that needs to be addressed immediately. Reasons for this could extend beyond this small description. However, here are a few.
1. Many children feel uncomfortable or embarrassed while participating in physical education around others. This could be caused by anxiety or other personal issues.
2. School is to enrich one's knowledge and thinking skills. Being able to play a good game of football does not contribute to the learning of children.
3. Although obesity rates are high, health is a personal matter that should not be addressed by schools or school boards.
4. If someone does not want to work out, forcing them to in a class is not going to benefit them in the future.
