revoke the Tax-exempt status of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Created by E.C. on November 06, 2015

We urge the White House to revoke tax-exempt status for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also known as the LDS Church and Mormon Church) as well as any other religious group who garners millions of dollars in donations while publicly supporting discrimination and intolerance through political activism and policies. The LDS Church has repeatedly shown support for anti-LGBT political movements and continues to discriminate against many different groups within their own church through policies. Many other religious groups are guilty of the same. We do not believe that these institutions who gain immense profit from donations should be allowed to continue to do so on the backs of discrimination and hate.
