Revoke the tax exempt status of the Westboro Baptist Church hate group.

We are petitioning for the federal government to revoke the tax exempt status of the Westboro Baptist Church. This hate group hiding as a religious institution has regularly spoken out against our military and citizens in a clear breach of its 501c3 Status. Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Westboro Baptist Church advocates certain political parties which is a clear violation of this prohibition. This movement would be in the best interest of our nation as these hate groups cannot be allowed to hide any longer under the false veil of a religious institution.
