Seeing that the people of Texas no longer want to remain a part of the United States and that they are adverse to social norms accepted by a majority of citizens, we hereby petition that Texas be ejected from membership of these United States of America. Further, we petition that all payments by the federal government to the state of Texas be ceased immediately and that all property belonging to these United States that is in the state of Texas be removed from Texas. Permanent structures, such as bridges and buildings may be purchased by Texas as part of the settlement of separation. If Texas refuses to pay for said property of the United States, ownership of these items should be auctioned off on the world market. Collection would be up to the new owners.
