Sign the other petition to exclude any churches, charities, and 501 (c) groups that participate in political activism from paying taxes. An example of a group who should not be tax exempt is the Mormon/LDS church located in Salt lake City, Utah. The church spent thousands and sent workers to California to defeat Prop 8 and yet, they are tax exempt as a non-political group. As the Supreme Court is now a lap dog of corporate and conservative interests, we must shine light on the people and groups who break the law; Citizens United has changed "One person-One vote" into "All the government that money can buy" and until the Court returns to serving and protecting the Constitution and the American voter, it is our duty to speak out against the unequal power that wealth has acquired!
