Reward our troops with a Bachelors Degree after a minimum of four years of service and upon Honorable Discharge.

Created by S.M. on January 31, 2014

Upon Honorable Discharge, many of our men and women are left jobless and, in some cases, homeless.

These men and women serve our country with honor, yet when they become a civilian again, they are behind their peers in searching for a job because they took time out of their lives to fight for our country instead of going straight to school.

We, the People, petition that upon Honorable Discharge and after a minimum of four years of service, our troops be awarded with a Bachelors Degree that coincides with the position they held during their time of service, i.e. an infantryman would receive a Bachelors Degree in Homeland Security and so on.

Give our troops a better chance at getting a job and a smoother transition into civilian life.
