Those who outright ignore the copyright laws are to be held accountable, The DMCA extends copyright law to the internet so those who outright steal peoples content are held accountable. Although, because of the DMCA, outright abuse of the copyright system has been displayed and has plagued the internet. Usually this is because of robotic systems handling something as complex as copyright abuse. Because of this mess, people are bound to abuse the system. Throughout major sites like youtube, facebook, tumblur and twitch, the first amendment is being ignored as major corporations and copyright trolls go about and use the system to monetize and profit off of someone else's hard work and time. Because of this, it is important to hold those who abuse copyright accountable.
