After researching the Section 8 program was created to help people & families that were suffering during the great depression could seek affordable shelter. Today we have families who aren't ineligible to support themselves because of a unavoidable situation but instead because they know if they continue to reproduce they'll be taken care of by the government. I would like to urge the Section 8 program to be revised to help people who have disabilities, are elderly and are trying to help themselves as a priority. The rest of the people should be able to get help but keep in mind these people can easily find work on their own. Disabled & elderly can't. Stop making what was supposed to an assistance program into a new type of welfare for lazy people.
