We can no longer live by the guidelines set by men of 227 years ago regardless of their historical impact on our nation as it stands. Humanity today can no longer even imagine what life was like back then, so why live by the same laws that have no place in our society today? Gun violence, prejudice, racism, income inequality, and many other issues plague our nation due to the inability of law makers and citizens alike to let go of the past. We need clear plan to move forward as a nation before we destroy ourselves. Also, this revised constitution would have to pass by a 4/5 majority of the popular vote of the American people and not that of our congressional law makers.
