Spring Valley High School and Richland 2 School District is way too strict. My name is Faith Jenkins, I go to Spring Valley now and I'm currently in the 12th grade. They give you Hours of detention for the dumbest things. You can't wear leggings if they don't have pockets on them, either if you have a shirt that covers your butt. This is mainly about the dress code but I also want to touch on other rules. You get 3 hours of detention if your ID is visible but not around your neck. They pick out certain people for dress code. If you wear a mini skirt but don't got any butt then they won't say nothing to you, but they will give the next person hours that got the exact thing on. It doesn't make any sense, I'm pretty sure nobody's parents will let them walk out of the house half naked.
