Rid Congress of corruption and undue influence.

Created by W.C. on January 19, 2013

Many of our Congressmen no longer represent us, the People. It is questionable if they ever have. This is a multi-step proposal to rid Congress of corruption and undue influence.
Firstly, limit Congressional terms. The legal precedent for enacting Congressional term limits is in the 22nd Amendment, which limits the President to two terms of office. Extend this restriction to Congress.
Eliminate lobbying, except by individual citizens or citizen groups. Expressly exclude corporations from this privilege.
Eliminate the Congress-Business revolving door. No one should be allowed to run for office after working for or aiding a corporation. No one should be allowed to accept complimentary positions in business after their terms are up.
