Regardless of who wins today's election I believe it is important to note that as citizens of this amazing country our votes aren't truly equal. With the all or none electoral votes of a state a candidate can win regardless of the popular vote, all they have to do is win enough electorals. Additionally in most states the electorates are not required to abide by the popular vote and can change the ballot of the people he represents by simply becoming a faithless elector. It is time to give back the people the same amount of voting power and let the popular vote be the winning vote.
