God(in what ever name you call him)did intend for us to work hard live an honest life of humility , but to strip a man of all he has is going to far. The miltary policy for B.A.H.(basic allowance for housing) needs to match the O.H.A(overseas housing allowance) in terms of what it covers(on and off post). With the common military families in the U.S. living from check to check it and always negative cash or always hurting for necessities.
