The Second Amendment was written during a time period when America was in its infant stages. Citizens needed the right to protect themselves against any British attempt to take back territory.
Had our forefathers been alive today, they would have amended this a long time ago, as a possible British invasion has long passed. Back then, people had muskets. After firing one shot, it took at least a minute to reload. Today, a person can fire hundreds of shots in that same minute.
Enough is enough!! As you're reading this, there's a very good chance someone has been killed by a bullet in America. Why do so many innocent people have to die and nothing is being done about it? Why is the government not doing a better job in protecting us? Let's make our voice heard.
