The Right to Die for Terminally Ill

Created by A.B. on July 19, 2016

To some physician-assisted suicide may sound disturbing or morally wrong but I believe it can be an incredible humane alternative for those suffering by giving the patient the option to die with dignity rather than with tremendous pain. The right to die by choice is a fundamental freedom every individual should have. When a patient is given a terminal diagnoses, meaning they have only six months or less to live, they should have the right to choose to die with dignity. Often patients with terminal illnesses suffer greatly experience a terrible quality of life. If this is what the patient and their family truly want, isn't that all that matters?
