We as a country need to take action against basic human rights being taken away on the streets. Far too many fatal police shootings have taken place. Fear and Anger has lead us as a country to execute AMERICANS without due process.
I believe the best solution that could be enacted immediately, is that all patrol, and generalized officers nation wide should be forced to use rubber bullets instead of live ammunition in their side arms. Patrol Officers and Traffic Officers should not need Live Ammunition to do their Jobs or even to protect themselves. Live Ammunition should be limited to SWAT and Tactical Policing.
We cannot wave a wand and remove systemic racism from the system, but we can make changes to reduce and eliminate the unnecessary lethal force being used almost daily.
