the right to equal employment opportunities despite body modification (i.e. tattoos, piercings, hairstyle, color, etc.)

Created by N.G. on September 03, 2014

We built our nation on freedom, liberty, and justice for all. I want equal employment opportunities for people who have visible body modification, such as, tattoos, piercings, hairstyle, hair color, etc. We have the freedom to express ourselves and I believe it is our right not to be judged by the color of our skin or how we decorate our bodies, as long as the tattoos are non-offensive. If the person is qualified for the position and in good standing with society then why must we be judged and have opportunities taken away from us? I believe everyone should have the right to equal employment, as long as they can perform the job tasks. A tattooed person deserves work as much as anybody else. Let's end harmful judgement against people with body modifications and treat all people equal.
