I am asking that you allow family visits.
There are 217,827 inmates as of October 6, 2011.Which means there are probably double the amount of families.This is a way to help fix broken homes and keep families together.
Family visits give inmates the opportunity to keep the family unit together. By doing so, inmates are more likely to have lower recidivism rates and are easier to manage while serving their sentences.If in fact that relationship on an emotional level is maintained throughout the period of incarceration, then we will actually have restored that family
Human rights activists consider the family bond important and encourage prisons to adopt rules for family visits.If it is possible to keep these families together throughout the sentence, then the chances of rehabilitation
