Bike riders are not allowed in National Cemeteries. They are considered a form of recreation. I was turned away on Memorial Day for the first time in 3 years because I was on a bike. I was not allowed to pay respect to my Father and Father in-law. I witnessed the guards at the gate turn away a motorcyclist and was told that bikes and motorcycles were not being let in yet they have a huge escort of Harley Davidsons for the Memorial Day ceremony. Why are bicyclist being discriminated against.The bike is considered a form of transportation. They let cars and motorcycles in but who is to say that the mode of transportation that a person is using is not used for racing or vehicle shows and these activities are considered recreation. This is not right the policy has to be changed.
