The Rights to serve and protect at 18 years old vs. 21 years old.

Created by C.K. on February 15, 2014

" The unfairness of the age restrictions in the Military and Police Force." I'm sure that I am not the only one who feels this way also. If you have ever wanted to become a Law Enforcement Officer at the age of 18 think again, You might have to join the Military until you turn 21 for a similar career field. Why should you have to substitute a career for one that is more intense, more life threating, more traumatic, and deadly. The military is a very outstanding and honored career field, Just like Law Enforcement. The military has more then double the amount of deaths than the Police Force. Also if I can join the military at 18 and carry weapons like AK47's, Grenades, Pistols, and Explosives why cant I become a Police Officer at age 18 and serve my community in a safer place?
