Events at rodeos which cause harm to animals should not be legal in the USA. These events are nothing more than animal abuse, which people pay to see. Animals are killed and/or severely injured during these events. They are barbaric along the lines of the gladiator vs. animal fights which occurred far back in Greek history.
If it is illegal to pit two chickens or two dogs against each other in a fight to the death, why is it legal to pit a human against another animal in what is often a fight to the (animal's) death?
