The integrity of the United States election system is an absolute requirement for fair and impartial elections. In the past few election cycles, going back to Bush / Gore, there have been many allegations of electronic voter fraud, vote switching and more than 100% of the registered voters casting ballots in some counties.
If the citizens of the United States are to have any trust that the elections are accurate, and that the people that are actually elected are in office, we must have some form of verification of the election results.
