We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Rural Internet Equality Bill to allow rural areas the same internet speeds as urban areas.

Created by P.R. on November 06, 2016

The monopolies of internet service providers can pick and choose whom the company services. A lot of homes in Rural Areas are right off of the existing phone and electrical lines within range of being serviced since the wiring is going past their properties. The Big Companies will cherry pick who they wish to service and leave people within a few hundred feet of a business or home with AT&T U-Verse or Comcast from getting service where wiring this other residence is minimal cost. I propose we force these companies to service everyone within a reasonable amount of distance from existing wiring and propose an increase in the amount of network boxes be available to all customers and have one access box be on each street with a home and provide the FCC aforementioned data speed of 25 or 100 MB
