Safeguard the democratic values of our election process.

1. Restrict campaign contributions to voters. Each contribution must be identified by a voter id.
2. Restrict campaign contributions to voters who can actually vote for a candidate. If you cannot legally vote for the candidate you also cannot contribute money.
3. Restrict the amount one contributor can donate to $2,000 per candidate.
4. Do away with the Electoral college. It discourages democratic voters in Texas and republican voters in California and New York. The president should be elected based on the simple concept of the popular vote.
